My Dad sold steel to them and would have known a bit about the company, if you have a specific question.

Did anyone know John Wilson Baird?
I know he worked at Leamington, Dagenham and Southampton. Not sure where he started but I know he ended up in management.
The info I have is he was the manager at Leamington Imperial Foundry when Henry Ford visited, and latterly manager ot Southampton.

My late grandad worked in management at Leamington in the 1950s. Ernest Thorley.

There's a photo of "Ernest Thornley" (sic) receiving a cutlery set as a "leaving present" (sic - wedding present, he never left) from a load of management in one of our local photo books, if you want me to look and see if John's on the photo with him?

Sure yeah, I was hoping that someone alive today would have known him or atleast of him. Was just curious as I have many newspaper clippings about him but my nans memories of him are somewhat patchy these days!
