Detectives have traced 30 caravans in Spain they believe were stolen during a spate of thefts in Lancashire.

What seems odd to me, is why didn't they nick them from somewhere nearer one of the Channel ports!

There was talk last year of a dodgy dealer in Lancashire who went bankrupt overnight at just the same time as all the caravans in his workshop disappeared. I wonder if they're related?

Surely UK caravans would stick out like sore thumbs in Spain - the doors will be on the 'wrong' side, won't they?

I had a caravan with the door on the 'wrong' side. It only caused a problem if stopping briefly in lay-bys.

I think it's a positive sign that the Police still have the resources to work on a crime like this, I would have expected it to be case closed very soon after they disappeared!
