2004 2.0 Petrol Review - teddybear
Having purchased a 2004 2.0 Petrol C5 VTR 2 months here are my comments.

Fuel economy commute now around 31/32
Fuel economy long journeys 35-36
Even hit 36.5 on long journey to Wales this weekend and this was with some mixed driving too.

2000 Miles of motorring so far has been faultless. The rear brakes did need re-aliginging but this is a known c5 issue.

The car is very quiet and rides the motorway so quietly, any other car i ride in now seam to have hard suspension. Seats also very comfotable.

Overall for a car that cost me only £5000 with 30 K on the clock i am very impressed.

If you don't mind taking a risk buy one.

I used VTS in Warwick to sort the brakes and was £120+ VAT very helpful service and they certainly know ther citroens.

2.0 Petrol is nice to drive and has the power when required, did think of a diesel but me not used to them and know that some TDCI's can be a pain to fix when they break so stuck with petrol.
