2000 2.0 Hdi - Central locking nightmare!! - penelopepitstop
Hello, i was wondering whether anyone knows where the central locking control unit is found on a peugeot 306 (2000) i have read on this forum and others that if the central locking goes wrong then a good way to solve it is to close the loop on the circuit on the Central locking unit however i have struggled to find it despite looking in boot, under seats and in middle consule? ... however more worryingly i did find in centre consule a bunch of wires and 2 connectors which were not connected to anything? (is this normal?) thanks very much in advance

{tidy up of subject line to include year, and remove make/model as this is automatically filled in when you used the drop down menus},/i>

Yeah i have had a look at the wiring in the drivers door, it seems to be o.k? its funny the car will lock via the drivers door if both the front locks are down, but if they are not then it will unlock straight away?

What happens if you use the key in the passenger's door?

Yeah same with passenger door, it will lock if both front locks are down, otherwise it will autounlock, what i'm really baffled about is the two connectors in the centre consule which are not connected to anything?
