Known about for 6 months+ BUT parts not availabale until APRIL / MAY 2008

Other known problem is rusting of roof near the windscreen seal - repair involves re-spraying roof.

It's down to a fault with the handbrake release button. Something that is as old as the ark - you would think Honda know how to make these by now!!

What are they like?!?!?

When I learnt to drive back in the 1980s, the advice was to push the button when applying the handbrake. Partly so as not to un-necessarily wear the rachet system.

I got the same in the 60s; hold the button in all the way until "resistance is felt" then drop the button and click the last tooth or so. And that's the way I've been doing it ever since.
