1990 3.9 - Keeping used ABS Parts for spares - mrmender
I'm scrapping a 1990 Range Rover 3.9 I have purchased a 1992 replacement Rangie. I'm selling most of the bits to raise some cash but have noticed that the ABS unit looks to be new. Do these units keep ok if removed and say boxed up & placed on a shelf? I'm concerned about internal corrosion due to the nature of brake fluid
Any advice would be welcome
Thanks MM

not sure but could you vacumm pack it or pack it in a sealed bag with moisture absorbing crystals same as the little sachets that you get with electrical goods

Don't know about a used ABS unit, but I do know that new Vauxhall brake master cylinders used to have a use by date.
