Hi Having just bought a Honda Civic Aerodeck, 1999 reg which I am very pleased with, I was disappointed to read, of a Monster Recall,of cars built between 1997 and 2000 anyone out there know anything about this, ignition switch problem.

Have you checked HJ's car-by-car index for details? Ring your local Honda dealer, and they will give you details, and should be able to find out if your car has had it done. The work should be carried out for free.

Thank you Rob, I should have thought of that, but I bought the car from a local dealer, and after I posted this message, I found the Honda web-site, that has a recall link, so I may be ok.
