Cost of New Lock - Saltrampen
Ball park figure (new) : £20 - £40 but probably much more if you want to match it with original keys...(£100??)
I assume you just mean the key barrel part and not rods etc...or do you mean the actual lock that is halfway down the inside of the door?

Do you mean key lockable doors or rear doors?

25 pound ford dealer take your old lock and key and he will rebuild it for you, i am assuming yours is worn usual ford toffee lock ?

Yes these are a doddle to rebuild, just need a plug locator and some new wafers. No wonder they want to do it for £25. See if they'll sell you a plug locator, some wafers and washers, then take a look at

Are we talking about the lock or the barrel here?

My reply earlier was assuming it was the lock.

If it is the barrel I had these problems on my 1990 escort about 14
