Sometimes, normally when its cold, the central locking activates without warning even with the keys in the ignition & the engine running!
Any ideas?

Sticky button on sender fob OR where are the spare set?
Does it do it if you swap to spare set of keys and fob?
OR could be moisture somewhere in the locking circuits behind the door.
Is it cold or does it do it in the cold and wet?
What is the battery condition?

Thanks for the input, I only have one remote, the spare is just the key. I don't think the buttons are sticking so I'll change the batteries in the remote.

Mine had the same problem. Never did get to the cause of it as I sold the car. I just had to keep the spare key handy. Mine would suddenly lock up, any time, cold or warm, and for no reason.

Hi,
Mine locks up even when driving. I too carry the spare key but I've got into the habit of dropping the drivers window down if I get out of the car with the engine running - caught me once but fortunately I was only at the bottom of our drive.
