Hi
Can anyone tell me how to retract the piston into the rear brake calliper on a 2000 Accord 1.8, please.
Thanks

use a rewind tool or lever it back in with a couple of screwdrivers (hold them together in a crossed sword type of arrangement ), dont forget to remove the lid off the brake fluid resevoir

Or even better, clamp the flexible brake pipe (to stop fluid being returned to the master cylinder) and undo the bleed nipple on the relevant caliper.

These calipers require turning (screwing), so you will need to find something to fit in grooved cross if you don't have a rewinding tool. This maybe very dificult if you have allowed the pads to wear low and the piston to come out too far, but can be done. unscrew resevoir cap or bleed nipple as suggested.

Thanks, everyone - its best to know what to expect - before you get into trouble!!
