yr 1995 - crankshaft pulley, L or R handed thread? - philjenk
I have a 1995 Honda Accord. I have changed a timing belt on one before but I cannot remember if the crankshaft pulley bolt is left or right hand threaded. The workshop manual gives no indictation of this either. Please can some one help me as I don-not wish to tighten it further as I know they can be a pian to get un-done as it is.

Many thnaks, Phil

You can refer to Honda's own workshop manuals here:

It is a normal right hand thread but they are usually velly velly tight on the Honda engines.

I've had to get mobile commercial tyre fitters in several times to crack these off with their monster impact guns.

I think the Japs must have really long spanners to get bolts as tight as they do!
