1997 with brake problems. NSR shoes had delaminated and drum fell off easily. Will the offside come off??!!
Rotates freely, but roughly, but will not budge, even with puller. Any suggestions?

SL tweak

You need to literally keep on with the puller as the only thing you can now damage is the seals on the cylinder and or the backplate and shoe holding pins
dont forget to grind off the drum lip before replacing everything or you will be back to square one
(last time i had this problem? Wednesday with a skoda,i had a fight on in exactly the same way but i won in the end )

goodas luckas

a mild edit.

Thanks bellboy, to create more movement inside i've pulled out the retaining pins and disconnected and unbolted the cylinder, but it still wont budge. Thats why I thought there may be something else involved here.

only the handbrake and bottom shoe locaters then
i got mine out thinking back by drawing the drum out then getting a long screwdriver behind the shoe locating bits and carefully waggling each side out,as i said it took me a while and it can be a problem, ive never had to smash a drum off though or if i have it was a long time ago
