wondering why no-one is advertising cars for sale these days here - must be few months since I saw one. Am looking for a £2.5k reliable hatchback for colleague and always enjoyed viewing the occasional BR's ad on this site. Any reflection of the used market generally, perhaps?

Put a WANTED ad in then.

My thinking is that the HJ forum isn't the best place to maximise your return when selling.

The people who read/post here are pretty clued up on values and you'd be better off sticking a car on ebay/trader.

On that note I have a Ford Ka I'm looking to sell as we're expecting a baby, it's 6 yrs old with about 55k miles. I'm looking for about 2.5k.

Cheers,

Lou

IMO you're far better off buying new when it comes to babies ;-)

Not so sure about that. Six years old is ideal, if they've been properly run in.. :-)

When it comes to having kids the first 25 years are the worst.

Just put my daughter's Fiesta in the classified section, hope it keeps you happy, maybe you will buy it.
