HI,Put my lawn mower in back of car by folding down left hand back seat.It now is jammed solid and will not go back! I think perhaps the seat belt has perhaps locked on and will not release.

dont think its the seat belt as that would be sandwiched between seat and backrest
have you looked along the hinged area (move the boot carpet) and see if owt is trapped , has the lawn mower lost any bits could be that!!!!

It was the seat belt jammed in a locked position.My wonderful brother in laws father fixed it. He removed the rear of the back seat and the seat belt mounting.Replaced the back then the seatbelt,then sharply jolted the back of the seat to release the seat belt!
