Hi all,
Now I have sorted the wife out with a car I need a truck..I'm looking at Mit's L200 or nissan navara..
Reading the write ups the Nissan seems to have edge over the L200 when looking at build quality etc....
I'm off this afternoon to view a 2001 plate D22 with 80K on the clock. the car is an import (it was imported from new by the current owner) so only one owner from new. It was a 'correct' import as Nissan honoured the Warrenty and have given it the full service history..
I have never brought an imported car and was hoping (long shot) that some one might have experience with the Nissan?
thanks

Do your own hpi afore yee buy
do your own chassis check and the tags on the bulkhead
personally i think the navaras are tinny and very poor japanese copies i prefer the mitsi

The climate in Cyprus ate through a layer of hammerite on our neighbours railings in 1 year - check for rust!

Thanks chaps..
the motor was imported as New just under 6 years ago...HPI check good idea.....
It really is a toss up between the L200 or the Navara......whats makes you think they are tinny?

i was going to buy one or the other two years ago and the mitsi is definately the better of the two in build rust prevention and looks
i bought a transit instead

Not sure where you got the idea that the Navara is a better truck than the L200, but I thik the l200 is a much better truck than the kneesan.
I had access to an L200 for 4 years and 75k miles. NOTHING needed doing to it other than the schedule service.
