Hi all.
A friend is considering purchasing a Vauxhall Astra from a well known car supermarket. It will have delivery miles, and I believe will be imported from Europe somewhere.
The car supermarket carefully words ther small print as saying all cars supplied with balance of manufacturers warranty 'where available'.
Does anyone out there know the situation with Vauxhall and honouring these warranties? The car concerned is an Astra TwinTop, so she is quite keen to get the full warranty with respect to the roof mechanism.

Is it a real Vauxhall, or an Opel re-badged as a Vauxhall which is an offence against the Trades Description Act - a well known car supermarket has been successfully prosecuted by deleted Trading Standards.
It's not normally possible to import Vauxhalls.
If it's an Opel it'll be a one year warranty, not the three years offered by Vauxhall.
