A friend who have a MK3 1994 Ford Granada 2.5 Turbo Diesel manual gear-box with the clutch to the floor and a garage said 'the Clutch Master Cylinder that's failed but it could be the hydraulic release bearing in which case it would have to have the engine taken out'.
Is this correct that have to take the engine out ?
Your answer please.
Many thanks!

If it isnt the master cylinder its probably the slave or the flexi pipe to it split,is the bearing noisy at all?
