You know when an important sailor goes on board a ship and they blow that funny little whistle?...thats what my newly purchased wifes Pug 307 sounds like when I dab the brakes...
Should I just go Kwik-Fit a new set of pads or is there an alternative?
Just bought the car and its done 100,000 miles....should I entrust to Halfords to do a cam change?...can they test/look at it to see if it needs doing?...anyone know how expensive it will be?

Fit the new type of anti squeal Peugeot brake pads or Ferodo ones.
Cam belt change depends on what lumps under the bonnet, the smaller TU engines are easy, the EW / DW lumps are a bit harder.

Ok I'll ask KwikFit to put some non-squeelers on!....the engine is 1.4hdi how much do you think I'll get charged?

Might be better seeing if local Peugeot dealer has an express fit department, very good on prices for brakes etc plus you will get OE Peugeot pads of the anti squeal type.
1.4 HDI cambelt, no idea im afraid.
