Hi all,
Just out of total curiosity im wondering what my car would be worth.
None on autotrader so cant really put a value on it.
Description
Audi Coupe GT
1984 B reg
2.0 5 cylinder Bosch k-jetronic injection.
power steering, electric windows (pasenger side not working)
alloy wheels
half leather interior
Laser red paintwork (not faded)
LPG CONVERTED
128000 miles with lots of previous MOTs.
The car has had 4 previous owners (one bloke from 1984 to 1986, another from 1986-2002 (father) when he passed away it became sons (2002-2004) then he passed it onto his brother 2004-2005. I then purchased the vehicle.
There is not rust around the car, arches are solid, drives fine. Its totally immaculate for a 22 year old car. Lots of history and receipts including orifinal sales invoice from 1984 car costing £9400
Then another invoice from same garage in 1986 for £7500 (first owner px's for newer audi in 1986) and second owner bought.
Alloys need refurbing.
6 months tax and test.
How much do you guys reckon this car is worth......I have no intention of selling it as it serves me fine and I really enjoy driving it.
Its a very fast car....ok not to tdays standards but it must have been something in 1984 even today it really shifts!!
Cheers

it sounds like the car blacky was selling on behalf of his brother last year who lived up in the lakes,he had lots of ebay timewasters and sold it to a right decent guy from the autotrader for £595 i think

whos blacky?
I bought this car from Blackburn...decent bloke the seller.

I like these coupes, I had an Audi 80 saloon on a B plate. I would have thought £500 max for your car.
|
I was thinking it was probably more closer to £900 maybe 1k.
Still im not selling it :)

That'll be Blacky from Blackburn then, won't it?!
|
Good job you aren't selling.
If you were you would be in for a disappointment.
£1K is firmly early 90's coupe land.
different story if it was a quattro.
|
Other problem is the LPG conversion would scare off a large proportion of potential buyers.
|
Petrol, £500 max.
LPG conversion. Nil. You need to ensure its been done properly and with a car of this age/mileage its just not worth the effort.
Might impress a tree hugger who doesn't understand the dangers of dodgy LPG conversations but thats about it.
Plus who would do an LPG conversation on a vehicle like this? Weird.
