Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately there is no maker's name on the trailer. I guess it is a home made job.

Try this site, www.trailerpartswarehouse.co.uk - I've been recommended to them by a few people but haven't needed to order anything yet. People who've had dealings with them say they are excellent (and no I don't work for them!)

I don't know if this is helpful or not, but MOWOG used to be the trade name for BL / Austin / Morris parts.
And 11H 1319 would be a part number.

I'll do that also. Thank you.

Sorry for the late reply. Looks a good site. Thank you.

Thanks Henry, I thought so. My first 4 wheel car was a 1961 Austin Cambridge two tone grey and lots os chrome. I can see that part number in front of me now. Red leather seats, quarter lights, SU carbs, I conveted to twin 1 and 1/2 one weekend and broke a half saft so I went back to a standard fit. Super reliable, great motoring, points, condensor, and Lucus Electrics. Eh-By-Gum. Regards Peter

That is looking like it is'nt it.Thank you.

Instead of trying to find a replacement for the one wheel it may be easier to find a pair with the right hole spacing.Just a thought...
|
Why do you need to identify the drum - it's the wheel you are trying to replace, isn't it?
I'd just take the wheel to a scrap yard and browse around, armed with a tapemeasure. There are only three things to get right:
spacing between the holes, rim size, and degree of offset of the tyre in relation to the bit where it bolts on.
Even that last may not be critical, depending on mudguard design.

Yes you are right. We did that and the nearest was a 14" wheel from a Nissan. This was no good because the hole in the centre of the wheel would not clear the tapered boss on the hub, but more importantly, because of the offset which is common to front wheel drive cars, the wheel was touching the trailer body on the inside even before the wheel just got over the boss/wheel studs.
