Subaru is aiming to give Impreza buyers more than £3500-worth of peace of mind.
Until June 30, the manufacturer is providing a range of extras to customers who buy the £20,495 Impreza Type UK saloon.
Included in the package are five years' servicing, five years' extended warranty, five years' roadside recovery and a satellite tracking and touch-screen navigation system.
A hands-free Bluetooth mobile phone kit is also included.
Is this the reply from Subaru UK to the importers (Motorpoint, Alliance etc sourcing from Malta/Cyprus) who are undercutting Subaru UK by £4-4,500 on the base WRX.

A damn good License to thrash it, I'd say!

Perhaps the package also includes a series of identity changes and moves to more permissive countries to counter totting-up licence-loss...

Why else would you buy an Impreza? It isn't the type of car people get to potter down to the shops in.

Maybe not perhaps due to the fuel and general running costs, or 9-point driving licences, you see a surprising number of Imprezas being driven outrageously gently - I mean really, really gently, well below the speed limit in clear conditions.

My retired neighbour is on his third Imprezza WRX. He mostly uses it to go to Asda for the shopping - never goes over 40mph in it and polishes it every weekend!
