whats my car worth do you reckon? - jamoor1
its a 2001 cdx d4d previa
72k, s/h, missed one service, and the 60k one isnt a toyota service
leather seating, good bodywork and cd changer and parking sensors.

parkers values it at around 12.5, what do you guys think?

but scratches, dings, incomplete service history what looks like cheap tyres and the timing belt done by a tyre place.
It isnt going to get top price.

Missed "one" service and then one by an independent, Previa, diesel? My clocked ex-taxi antenna would be ringing on this one, even if the car is genuine.

Not sure where the cheap tyres, scratches, dings and timing belt by a tyre place came from - the OP says the bodywork is good and there's no mention of a timing belt.

£10k tops unless you get lucky or the car is very special indeed.

He has a link to ebay in the classified section. In that he descibes scrathces and dings - and they are shown in the pics. T/b done at 60K at non-toyota dealer, pic of service book shows stamp by 'Tanvik Tyres'

yeah here,
the rear tyres are michelin ones,
there are extras, do they account for anything?
the tyre place is a all round servicing place (its a bit like kwik fit, but better imo)

Extras count for anything? Thye help sell over a car that does not have them, but they are not worth any extra cash.

It looks honest and tidy enough for the year, but its still 10k tops.

damm, I was gonna part ex this for 10k back in september for a Viano but the moron dealer delivered me the 6 seater not the 8 seater, so has the car depreciated quite a bit or was the part ex a good deal?

The thing that sets off alarm bells in my head is the fact you've called it an estima - is it a genuine UK car or is it an import?

I personally would not call the bodywork good condition - it would need quite a bit tidying up before it could be called that. It looks about average for age and mileage.

I also echo what other people have said about having the cambelt and major service done by a fast fit type place - did they just replace the belt or did they do things like tensioners as well?

they replaced belt and pulleys

its a genuine uk car supplied by a uk dealer which I have had since new.
I called it estima to catch more people when they search.
