I have a 2002 CR-V which has lost one of the demisting lines due to a 2mm section that has fallen out of it. I would usually live with it, but this one is directly in line of site, so i was wondering if there is a way repairing the line without replacing the whole back window.

Halfords used to sell a silver paint for doing that type of repair.I have used it many times and depending on your patience can be a very effective repair.

Still available,not cheap,from any good motor factor.Called conductive paint.

Done and done. £7.00 from maplin, followed by a freezing session with a shaved matchstick and a hairdryer, and the bar is working perfectly. Silver spot looks a little odd from the outside, but thats my OCD and i will have to deal with it.
