Hi

I've moved your post to this forum as I think you'll get a better response. We have a lot of techies here on a regular basis.

Having said that, could you furnish us with some more information -
Did you spot it or has someone told you about it?
Is the car under warranty?
Do you know exactly where it's coming from?
Are you simply looking for a good cheap reconditioned rack?
Or are you simply asking how it can best be fixed?

Good luck

Hi Hugo, thanks for pointing me in the right direction, i noticed a leak at the front of the bonnet on the road a couple of days ago, and my steering wheel is making a lot of noise. I put more fluid in and the noise stops, but i have to keep topping it up.The fluid bottle says it seels it as well , but dont know weather to keep putting it in till it does! Hope someone can enlighten me.cheers j.

get it to a garage as soon as you can it may just be a small leak in the pipe but if left to keep running low on fluid you will ruin the rack (£450) and probably the pump "£???)+labour charges..sorry

Hi, thankyou for the info, I have booked my KA into a garage in the morning, they say it needs a new pipe, which is £40+vat, £140 for the whole job. Have to get it done, cant take the risk on the motorway,Thanks again for your information jx
