I'm having a look at a 'new' Polo tomorrow, well 'w' plate anyway. I've heard some stories about the electric window switches, that they disintergrate of their own accord. I was told that VW buy these switches from Czechoslovakia or somewhere and they are pretty poor in quality.
Has anyone had any experiences with these switches ?

THE MAIN PROBLEM ON A POLO IS FINDING THEM, DOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DASHBOARD INSTEAD OF IN THE DOORS WHERE THEY SHOULD BE.
