Have just imported a Nissan cube car from Japan and need to convert speedo which just shows kph at present, to mph to pass SVA test.
Any idea where to get dial kit in mph which can fit with this car model.
Many thanks in advance

Hi Bel...
there is a possibility that you won't need to go to that expense. A friend bought a Toyota Previa import from Japan, call the Lucida Estima. It looked like the illumination was not working on the speedo so we took the dashboard off. We found a plastic mph template stuck over the Japanese kph one. Removed the kph one and it's now fine. If it's a common car to import, there should be these kind of add ons, otherwise, talk to a Previa/Lucida importer, find out where they get their templates...
Good luck.. DB

If the car is going through SVA then you need a mph speedo. I doubt you will get a replacement mph face for your Cube.
I suggest buying a 'speedo conversion chip' (small electronic circuit that is spliced into the speedo signal wire and divides the pulse frequency by 5/8). Your speedo will now read in mph. You just need to cover the 'kph' text over and re-label it 'mph'.
There are a variety of companies that sell speedo convertor chips, many on the web.
