Arrgh!
Does anyone know what those cameras are for on the M3 southbound at Winchester?
One set just before the junction, one set on the junction (pointing back down the slip road) and one set approx. 200m after the junction.
I was going a little fast - a momentary lack of concentration (does this sound familiar?).
Martin.

Like I'm the right person to answer this from Brazil.......
However, I think I know the ones you mean - on the "new" stretch ? If so, I saw them when I was driving down that road about 6 weeks ago. I think they are for some kind of metered access to the M3 - at least, this is what my friend from Gosport told me.
If they are, and they are the same as the ones they use in the US, then they are not active all that often, and even then are for monitoring how many cars are waiting (or not) at the lights/slip road.
