I wonder if any of the esteemed members of the backrooom may be able to help?
I'm trying to source a set of wind deflectors that fit around the side windows on a 1997 Mitsubishi GTO. A mate managed to break one of his and now wants to find a replacement set. His car is an import and it's not a genuine Mitsubishi part as far as we can establish.
I've googled until my fingers have started to peel but to no avail.
Anyone?

Sadly not. They don't make one for the 3000GT/GTO

The page says Mitsi 3000 but the deflector is a Weathertech model and they don't make them for this car. Closest yet though!

Go to your local motor factors & see if they stock 'Blue print' aftermarkets, they produce parts for many Japanese makers including import models.

Blueprint will not have these wind-deflectors available.
I take it the original poster was refering to the OEM Mitsubishi wind deflectors? These are a black rubber moulding that clips around the trim above the door aperture - they are not the perspex type wind deflectors you sometimes see on other cars.
I think the original GTO wind deflectors would have been an OEM option from new from Mitsi. Try a GTO breakers or try e-mailing Kempys 'Mitsi-Bits' in Auckland - they may well have them.
If its any consolation I think the car looks much better without them!

In this instance Aprilia my mate's car has aftermarket slimline perspex ones rather than the OE rubber ones. Looking like a lost cause here.
I've given him the email address for Kempy's Bitza Mitsis for a punt.
