Hi i have just sold my vectra and bought an imported mx3 1.8 v6 equippe model. Awesome car with a screaming v6 note......but i cant find any tchnical information anywhere???? any ideas people??

Theres some repair/information CD's for sale on ebay, though don't know if Haynes do a manual (Chilton might though).

cheers for that, haynes don't do a manual so its time to look for a chilton. come on guys there must be someone who knows something (anything) about these cars........

Try Mazda. The MX3 1.8V6 was imported into this country, although whether or not it's the same spec is another issue. Or look up the back pages of an old car magazine from when the car was current?

Which i've just done. Test of a UK 1.8 V6 in Issue 5 Top Gear Magazine, p 219 (Feb 1994). 134bhp (CBCB notes down to 128bhp in August 1994. 0-60 in 8.5 seconds, top speed 126mph. Insurance Group 15. Usual premium equipment for a car of that age, central locking, leccy windows etc etc. Course, yours might be a lot newer, and being an import may have a different spec and outputs.
For the which fuel issue, i'd ask a dealer.

thanks for the info, i tried mazda and am still waiting for them to send me some info, tried running it with normal unleaded then optimax, what a difference.....don't want to start a supermarket petrol versus optimax thread here but anyone with an imported max 3 USE OPTIMAX..........dont think my car is the same spec as a uk car as mine has aircon but uk cars dont. It is a 93 spec so think i have the more powerful engine?
