If you had any technical car skills your description of the fault would be different. You would also have mentioned checking brake fluid, front pads the servo pressure failing.

All the above indicates you do not have the technical skill to work on total sudden major brake failure safely.

Get you car towed to the garage asap.

Sounds like you have a problem with the brake servo. The brakes will work, but they need a very hefty shove to make them do so. For a quick check you could look for the servo (big round device usually bolted on the bulkhead behind the brake fluid reservoir, and look for a large pipe running the the engine. Check that pipe is still joined on, and not spilt or something. Failing that, suggest you get it looked at by someone who knows what they are doing ASAP and don't drive it in the mean time. What car is is BTW?

Silly question

Have you checked the level of your brake fluid?

I have seen the brake pipe on some FIATs rot through very quickly. Have you lost any fluid? - could be a pipe failed.
Fiat fiorino brake problem - jamesy004
No loss of fluid, asked mechanic to-night says it could be the vacum pipe as alredy mentioned here will try that tomorrow

Hi update on the brake problem i have, well it turns out to be the vacum pump where it fits on to the end of the cam, found out this is common fault on fiorino`s design fault, but never as i am aware recalled, the shaft on the vacum pump does not fully reach the end of the cam where it wares away the cam end or the pump shaft breaks and leaves you suddenlly with no brakes, lethal glad i was not doing 70 mph you just get no warning going to see a fiat dealer tommorrow to see what can be done, does anybody know if this problem was rectified hope so as this is a death trap and how many other fiorino drivers are going to be caught unaware
