Re: Eurocarparts - Dan J
I wish I could help you - sadly I just see a colossal bill coming your way.

Is there any chance a professional/high end car breakers yard might possibly have a similar car written off you could purchase the part from? Sadly given the car's rarity I doubt it but could it be worth a try?

Best of luck...

I could've been more helpful there couldn't I?!

Try:

www.cartransplants.co.uk

Sadly I bet they won't be able to help you but you just never know, and they might have contacts nearer to you if they cannot help themselves.

They're based in Cheshire and as car breakers/used parts suppliers go they are pretty good and helpful.
Re: Eurocarparts - Gary
Thanks Dan,
I have just received some good news the previous company I mentioned Motormec based in Suffolk website www.bmwparts.uk.com has just offered me the part for £799.00 plus the VAT shaving £111.00 off of BMW. My dilema now is do I trust them to come up with the goods. They want a bankers draft sent directly to them. They said the part would be delivered within 10days from Germany.
Anyone give me any advice.
Re: Eurocarparts - Andrew Moorey (Tune-Up Ltd.)
There used to be an aparrently 'approved' BMW Breakers at Bolney Grange Industrial Estate in West Sussex, just off the A23.
Re: Eurocarparts - AFM
Gary,

Pay by credit card. If you don't get the goods, you can recover the money from the credit card company I think (check this).

I'd be reluctant to trust a company I don't know with £800+. If they won't take a credit card, I'd be inclined to pay the full whack to BMW rather than take the risk.
Re: Eurocarparts - ladas are cool
get in touch with trading standards to see if the company has had any complaints.
