Lets hope the changes to F1 lead to a more entertaining season next year. F1 is going down the plug hole regarding entertainment value.
If the powers that be want entertainment get rid of Hungary, Barcelona, and Magny Cours. These 3 races are normally the peak of tedium every season.
It may be great for M.Schumacher to win every championship but Ferrari are killing the sport as a spectacle. Best driver in best car = dull. Sorry, but I wish he'd retire. It would be so much more exciting when 4 or 5 different drivers could win each race. As it is I just hope Schumi crashes or has an off day, just to make the race interesting.
Nothing against him, he's just so much better than everyone else it hurts.
How about sprinkler systems around each track. Seems as though the most exciting races are normally wet or mix of wet and dry.
Am i totally out of touch or do others of you think/feel the same?

That perpetually smirking Schumacher is a PITA (not only that, he condones smoking) and I agree the whole F1 experience is sleep-inducing, to say the least. Just as bad is the fervid ranting of the commentators on ESPN and Star Sports who try to talk the whole thing up as though a procession of cars all following each other at high speed were of vital significance.
When the only apparent item of interest is will whoever have to make a pitstop because he only took on 79.8765 liters of gas this time, it's time to switch channels.
As a result I've developed an interest in Aussie Rules footie, almost as fast and suddenly 200X more interesting, which appropriately brings to mind that with F1 it's long overdue for a dose of the Tall Poppy Syndrome.....

All that money that goes into F1, for what value to sponsors?
What a waste.
Tractor pulling or drag racing at Santa Pod are better, even karting!

Massive publicity, what sponsorship is all about.
Tractor pulling, drag racing? ZZZZZZZZZ.....

You do surprise me, I would never have put you down as a PC person.

I'm no fan of MS but blaming him because the rest of the teams cannot get their collective acts together is a bit in appropriate don't you think?
Instead of ranting that Ferrari are too good maybe we should consider ranting that the rest of the field are not good enough.
Don't drag teams down to the lowest common denominator, it's up to the rest of them to raise their games.

I totally agree, absolute tedium. The worst race - if you can call it a race - is Monnaco. What's the point? If your not on pole that's it. I've said it before but will repeat myself, Aussie touring cars is where its at. Big V8s and lots of overtaking.
