Basically driving back from a long trip got to a set of traffic lights started to try to depress brake pedal. Extremely stiff. Never went down hardly at all. Hard to brake with my heal. Works if I press extremely hard with my heal. I checked the brake fluid level and it is full... any ideas anyone ?

Hi there, I agree you have a servo problem, check servo hose back to engine, if its a diesel it will go into the back of the alternator, and I am sure the hose has a valve in it which goes faulty, pull off the hose at the servo and start engine, put your finger end over hose end and it should suck your finger. If not, disconnect it at the pump end and check for vacuum, if non you have a knackered pump, if yes you have a knackered hose.
good luck.
