I was rear-ended in a queue of traffic in my company car yesterday by a young lad in an old Jag. Not my fault, reported it to our accident management folks so it will all get sorted out OK.
But, I have two other insurance policies in my name, one for my son's car with me as the policyholder & him as the main driver and the other a classic car policy on the Commer.
Question do I need to let either of the other insurers know about the company car accident? Would it make any difference if it had been my fault?
Any of you folks who know the insurance world like to comment?

You have a duty to disclose material facts. In this case, yes, you do need to notify your personal insurers and I would suggest you keep on to your accident management people to make sure that it does get closed-off as a no-blame claim. It's all too easy for them to accept knock-for-knock, forgetting that it may have an impact on your personal policies.
