Vauxhall astra h 07 1.8 petrol - Non start in rain / cold weather - mjon07

I have a vauxhall astra h 1.8 petrol 1796cc 103KW 140HP A 18 XER;Z 18 XER.

The problem I have is in the warm sunny fine dry weather it waill start first time every time .

But in the wet / cold weather sometimes with just a small shower of rain I have to crank a number of times or crank once or twice then when it catches it's like it's in limp mode and flooded as soon as I switch off and crank again it starts it will then start first time every time .

There are no head gasket problems , no rough idle , no error codes , exhaust smoke ok , oil ok , not losing power , petrol or oil .

Any Ideas ?

Most common issues on these is the ignition system . Spark plugs and coil cassette is where I’d be looking.
