I don't claim to be clairvoyant, but when I returned from Canada to the UK in 1967 I said I would not settle within 50 miles of our capital. I had been at school in Herts for 8 years and I didn't like the feel of the way things were going. Now I think I might make my limit 100 miles instead of 50.

I've seen the best of motoring freedom and din't realise how lucky I was.

As for London, 25/45 years ago i was all around London several times a week in trucks and loved it, now its once a week or so thankfully only just inside the Nth Circ for my work, and the sooner i see the back of the place the better.

Yes for now. But you get caught by the Congestion zone. But my concern is when (not if) TFL have another black hole in the finances. How easy it would be to say just 'Simplify the three zones into one' The cameras are all going to be in place. Then us EV drivers will be caught. So oppose the zones now.
