Immobiliser - Random

I'm looking for some advice/knowledge/experience of immobilisers. Contemplating having a Laserline 921 fitted to my Fiat Coupe, a Thatcham 2 device. All opinions welcome. Is this the way to go? Don't really want to go the cumbersome Disklok route.

It’s already got a factory cat 2 immobiliser fitted . Don’t think you need another one .

My father in law's anti-theft protection was to fit a domestic two pin plug socket to the ignition relay wire. To complete the circuit a suitably wired plug was inserted. No doubt a more elegant diy arrangement could be constructed.
