Don't get me wrong, I do love the Niva and would definitely have one, but £25k?. You can buy a lower spec version Niva in Germany, of the same age or newer, with less miles, for under 13k Euros. But even then, when the Niva has changed so little since it first appeared in 1977, why would you?. The biggest changes came in 1993 or thereabouts when the old carb fed 1.6 was replaced with a (slightly) less thirsty fuel injected 1.7, and the tailgate was extended to open right down to the bumper (rather than to the top of the rear lights)!.
