ford fiesta - water - john tillett

Water found under car. Air conditioning system turned on. Small pool of water . Turned off system . Water not seem dripping???

Any help?

Condensate drain from the aircon system. Perfectly normal.

Air-con works by cooling the air in the cabin. Cooler air can hold less water, which has to be removed by the system, which has a drain to the exterior. Normally you won't notice this as it happens while you drive. If the system has been working until you get home, you may be able to spot the last few drops on your drive.
