Nissan X-Trail T30 - Front Brake - Jordan Hickin

Hi guys

My car just passed its MOT like 2 days ago.

Last night I was driving home when I noticed the Front Off side brake (or

Somewhere infront of the driver) was grinding when I brake.

I e checked the pads and they look good, no advisories for brakes.

What else could be causing it? Occasionally you can hear a knock when breaking

But I think that's a loose calliper on the passenger side.

I would hope your MoT might have spotted a 'loose caliper' ?

So would I, possible its the pads moving slightly as you brake as they get more worn they may knock when reversing, if not happy get them checked out but pads have been known to knock when slightly worn as they take up slack in the calliper ie the paint wears off
