Hi

I have a 2010 ford Mondeo 2 0 tdci

And have a annoying squeek coming from the passenger side

Front suspension, but doesn't do it every time hit a bump

When having a look the strut looks a bit wet and when I removed

The dust cover a piece of rubber fell out that was wet aswell

Which I presume is part of the bump stop that has deteriorated

Everything else underneath looks tight so just wondering

If a worn damper would make this squeeking noise ?

Any advice would be appreciated
