Seat Ibiza - front bumper lights - omega3

Hi

I have a mk3 Seat Ibiza, 2003

pardon my ignorance, but those small round lights in the bumper, are they the front fog lights?

I got a 21 day ticket to get them fixed today, got pulled over, as they were on when I was driving today. The light switch does not always stay pushed in, which seems to control these bumper lights

If there's a switch for them, they're fog lights - if there's no switch they're Daylight Running Lights.

Fog lights can only be used in fog or falling snow when visibility is less than 100 metres.

A car this old won’t be fitted with daytime running lights . These are regular fog lights . If you are having trouble switching them on and off , get them fixed or disconnected. They are not a legal requirement and not mot testable on this age of vehicle.

I have ordered replacement switch.

is weird, you can push all way in and fog lights go off, but then you cannot turn switch clockwise to side lights, main beam position

seems duff to me

just to repeat, I honestly did not realise they were fog lights, I though they were daylight runners as the police called them

hey ho, part should be with me by the 4th Jan
