Front washers jets have started trickling water out. Rear jets fine and plenty of water in system? Anyone know how to unblock/flush the system? 2016 BMW 520d tourer
Thanks

A hosepipe flooding through the washer bottle sometimes washes the crud out. If not you may have to remove the filter in the tank and give it a clean, normally if you pull the motor out of the washer bottle the filter is accessible.

It can be caused by polish building up and blocking the holes, fuse wire is good to unblock them.

The problem may be caused by bugs feeding on propanol in screenwash. It seems to take a year or two before it becomes necessary to flush the system and refill with fresh.

It could just as simple as using a pin / needle to poke through the nozzle hole, hopefully unclogging any gunk.

Quite a few How to's on YouTube, etc

Depending how easy the nozzles are to remove, you might be able to blow through them.

A family member had a Mazda5 with blocked jets, which were mounted on the bonnet. The clear plastic water pipe pulled off the underside of the nozzles, which could then be removed from the bonnet using a twisting motion. Blew the crud out, reassembled and worked fine.

Driver and passenger side done in about 5 minutes.

Spray nozzles are much harder to clean.
