So the battery failed to start the car, but because the radio was on for the 30 mins it took for the breakdown service to arrive to the failed battery breakdown, it's now failed due to those 30 mins of use.
Had the car been sat on a hard shoulder, if you were lucky enough to find yourself with one, and quite sensibly the hazard lights were on, would the same apply.
If Audi head office back the garage up here, i'd be finding an Audi indy and getting him to supply a new battery, of a somewhat more durable design than the thing fitted when new, and for the remaining period of ownership said indy should be servicing the car...seeing as the warranty might as well be chucked in the same skip as the OE battery...then replace the car in due course with another marque, maybe one that values its customers rather more.
