Triumph Tiger 1050 - MoT Expiry date - Cris_on_the_gas

Just took motorbike in for its first MoT today, 3 years old.

Bike was registered on 16th June 2017, just checked Gov MoT site and MoT expiry shown as 15th December 2020.

Question is when it gets tested later today what will expiry date of MoT be ?

Cheers

Chris

The extension of expiry is due to Covid.

Our Yaris has just had its first MOT, just had the call to pick it up (!) and expiry is June 2021, despite extension to original expiry date.

Triumph Tiger 1050 - MoT Expiry date - RT

9th June 2021 - the extension applies to the existing Mot, for the future one.

And if it fails the MoT the extension is no longer valid.

Why did you lose the days? Ours was done to today, but expiry is still 22 June 2021.

At a guess, Cris' had been extended through the rolling extension regime and so his "official" MOT due date was in December but Davey's had not yet been extended and since the MOT was done within one month of the due date, the due date was used to calculate the anniversary.
