Hyundai i10 2011 1.2 - rear highline brakes - dave.w

rear highline brake lights not working. both side lights ok, checked all bulbs &connections. footbrake switch good, all other lights & electrics working fine. suggested the ECU or BCM module reset. how would that effect just some of the lights?

Sounds more like a faulty lamp or a broken wire in the tailgate . Do all the electrical bits in the tailgate work ?

rear demister & wiper ok . followed the wires back to the loom checked the earth all seem ok.

while its not working place some black plastic waterproof tape over it. when its fixed ,let us know what it was that was broken. I would check for broken wires where tail gate lifts
