Hi all, just a little query for the tech experts on here regarding Ford's powershift transmissions. I'm led to believe there are two types fitted to the mk3 facelift Focus, a dry clutch arrangement in the petrol engined variants, but the diesel engined ones utilise a wet clutch set -up. From what i've heard the dry one has proved problematic with owners the world over sueing the pants off Ford. But the only info i have on the wet one is that its generally reliable providing the transmission fluid and filter are changed every 36k or 3yrs (whichever is sooner). Does this sound correct?. Thanks in anticipation for any response.
