Vauxhall Corsa - Audio system problem - Finley Irwin-Hill
So I bought my first car a few months ago and decided to put in a double din stereo and put in a powered sub (completely aware how childish it is) and The car often needs jumping to start. When I turn the ket it clicks repeatedly but won’t crank over. I’ve disconnected the sub to see if it continues.
I think the problem is the sub as other people seem to have the and problem I just can’t seem to find out how to fix it. After doing a bit of research I think I may need a capacitor or a higher output alternator but which one will I need?
Thanks

Lead acid batteries don't generally like to be discharged, so repeated jump)bump starts won't do it any good.
I would suggest a new battery, can't imagine it will be so much for a Corsa?
So would it be the battery that’s the problem? I’ve checked it with a multimeter and it’s all good, would repeatedly jump starting it cause damage to the battery is some other way?
