Hyundai Santa Fe 2008 - PS2 cable on stereo\navigation - 3uga

Hi!

I'm looking to replace what i think is the original navigation sistem on a santa fe, with a aftermarket one with android. After disasembling it i noticed a cable somewhat similar to the ps2 you would find on old PC's

Does anyone know the purpose of that cable?

I seem to recall that the standard radio in the 2006-2009 Santa Fe was archaic - but with an option for a much better roof-mounted unit.
