We use them. Had one call out. Arrived in 40 mins. Diagnosed "loud engine noise" reported by my wife as loose heat shield. Removed it and told her to carry on driving the car until a local garage could re-attach.

Trustpilot give them 3/5. The reviews are mostly either 1 star or 5 star.

I try to drive reliable cars. One breakdown in last 10 years or so. So I'd rather pay as little as possible even if it did mean I might wait an extra hour once every 10 years. I'll console myself with hundreds of £££s saved over a decade of avoiding the AA and RAC

My discount 'code' (well 'phrase' really) for use with the RAC:

I've found the same level of cover with Green Flag for £XX.YY. I'll stay with you if you match it. Saved me about £70 - £80 in two years. A pity, like with the insurers, that they value new customers (lots of deals for them) than existing ones with many years custom under their belt.
